Yoga and meditation are known to support physical health and manage stress, but new research suggests that these activities also have an impact on cognitive health.

Research conducted at UCLA suggests that mind-body exercises like yoga and meditation support memory especially for people with an increased risk of cognitive decline, such as older women. Researchers believe the anti-inflammatory effects of yoga are responsible for the impact it has on cognitive health.
