In simple terms, satiety is the feeling of being full after eating. More than that, though, satiety involves feeling satisfied until it’s time for your next meal, with no lingering hunger or cravings in the time between.

You may hear or read this term used when talking about GLP-1 RA medications. These medications help increase feelings of satiety after eating. This can help reduce your hunger or appetite, which can help decrease food intake. This effect of GLP-1s can help you manage your weight, blood sugar, and more.
