Signs of Low Blood Sugar

Everyone with diabetes should learn to recognize symptoms of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). These include:

  • Feeling tired or weak
  • Confusion
  • Feeling shaky or dizzy
  • Being nervous or anxious
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Sweating or chills
  • Hunger

Kids should learn to tell a trusted adult if they notice signs.
