HIIT May Be the Key to Spending Less Time Exercising

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is no more effective for body fat loss than prolonged moderate-intensity continuous training exercise, some research suggests. That means that if you prefer one type of exercise over the other, your results won’t suffer for choosing what you like to do best. It may be that people often suggest HIIT simply because it’s more time-efficient: You can burn the same calories in less time because of the higher intensity.
